Love love my neti pot! I became intrigued when I seen it used on the series "Six Feet Under". Did some research, and as a chronic sinus infection sufferer, and invested in this quirky little gadget. It does take some skill in using the first few times, but after you get in the groove it is absolutely wonderful. Immediate relief!

We must be related! I see Doctor Oz has quit wearing the scrubs and "swinging free" as they say. I have the syringe version of the nasal cleanse. I have tried it a couple times, and never really noticed much difference, except that it made me laugh.

Don't use a Netipot, but do use saline solution (which goes in one nostril and out the other) ever since I had sinus surgery. Helps keep colds and sinus infections at bay.

I don't know, I'm afraid I might drown. It looks not only dangerous but yucky. I see them at Walgreen and Target and wonder about them and who uses them, now I know. If I got sinus infections I might be more inclined. Just wait, now that I have said that I will come down with a zinger of a cold. Dang.

My six year old grandson started using it last year because of chronic sinus infections, and he doesn't mind it at all...I, on the other hand, am still in ewwww mode, though I will use the saline spray. Glad it is helping you!

And my Billy Bonkers ended up in People magazine twelve years ago. Buried in his foot locker for over twenty years was a diary that he had taken as a relic of war in Vietnam, and in going thru that locker one day he realized that the diary contained the writings of a North Vietnamese officer, poetry telling of his love for his family, country, and life. Billy Bonkers (actually Paul Reed)vowed to return the diary to the officer's family, only to find out that he was still alive. They met when Paul traveled to Vietnam, and he even raised funds for the man to come to the United States to receive treatment for some health issues that couldn't be treated in his country. He (Paul) then wrote a book about his journey called Kontum Diary. An awesome story, and proof that even the Billy Bonkers of this world can rise above their tomfoolery! (how's that for an old fashioned word?!)
